ELM HOME CARE LTD will always dedicate themselves to ensure the best possible standard of care is provided.Every member of staff undertakes supervisions and control spot checks. These checks enable us to ensure improvements will be made by the service, by acting upon your feedback. Every three months the Manager will visit you to ensure that your needs and expectations are being met. You will have the opportunity to talk and voice any concerns you may have regarding the service you receive, you are encouraged to have a friend or relative present. The Manager is always available to discuss any concerns or queries you may have.


The Manager will also arrange to visit you whenever you have any concerns with regards the service you receive.


As part of our quality assurance you will be supplied with a questionnaire about the service every 3 months to ensure any problems are rectified to the best of our ability and will ensure you are receiving the highest standard of care.


With your consent, the Manager will visit your home to ensure Support staff are undertaking tasks set out in your support plan to a standard that is expected from our service.


All the above are confidential and will help Elm Home Care Ltd provide the highest standard of care that will be delivered to you.

Standards that you can expect



Your Support Worker should:

  • Complete the tasks set out in your support plan

  • Arrive as near as possible to the time stated in the care plan. If, however they are going to be over 20 minutes late, due to an emergency or road conditions every effort will be made to contact you

  • Wear a uniform with the Elm Home Care Ltd logo badge and carry a photo identity card

  • Be polite and courteous

  • Maintain a good standard of appearance

  • Keep all your personal and financial matters strictly confidential

  • Respect your rights and dignity and promote your independence at all times

  • Respond to changes in your needs and help to put you in touch with other agencies when necessary

  • Show respect for your home, belongings personal preferences and personal standards of behaviour

  • Have the knowledge, skills and competence to carry out their work with you If you have concerns regarding your care package, staff or any other concerns please don’t hesitate to contact the Manager at the office.
